About the position

The Career Coach at Rauch, Inc. is responsible for supporting students with disabilities in preparing for meaningful community employment and post-secondary education options. This role involves planning and developing programming for students in the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program, advocating for students' choices, coordinating job matches, and identifying support needs. The position is based in the New Albany Office and requires travel within Floyd and Clark Counties, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop programming for students in the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program.
• Support students in preparing for community employment and post-secondary education options.
• Work closely with Vocational Rehabilitation services.
• Advocate for the promotion of students' choices in providers.
• Coordinate job matches for students.
• Identify support needs for students.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with one year of experience in special education, supported employment, or transition service delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
