About the position

As a Career Development Manager at BCG, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Career Development experience for the Consulting Team staff. This position involves managing performance management processes, facilitating feedback mechanisms, and supporting local CD leadership to ensure effective developmental conversations and experiences throughout the BCG journey.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the CD Director to deliver an excellent Career Development experience.
• Manage the end-to-end process of assigned Career Development Committee (CDC) meetings.
• Oversee meeting readiness and communicate with Consulting Team (CT) and CD Advisors to ensure pre-meeting tasks are completed.
• Contribute to CDC meeting discussions on policy, precedent, and best practices.
• Capture post-meeting outcomes and updates.
• Hold CT and CD Advisors accountable for timely and quality feedback management.
• Support local CD leadership by organizing pre-meeting discussions and post-meeting debriefs.
• Oversee assignments of CD Advisors to CT staff within assigned cohorts.
• Co-facilitate onboarding sessions, trainings, and cohort meetings for CT staff.
• Participate in strategic efforts to drive best-in-class career experiences for the Consulting Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
• 5+ years of related work experience in a management or people-related role.
• Prior experience at BCG or another management consulting firm is highly preferred.
