About the position

The Career & Life Design Coach at Trinity College is responsible for coaching students in career and life design through individual and group sessions. This role involves leading a community focused on specific industries, particularly Law, Policy & Social Good, and managing outreach and programming related to these fields. The coach will also design and support DEI initiatives and collaborate with campus partners to enhance the objectives of the Career & Life Design Center.

Responsibilities

• Coaches students in career and life design in individual and group settings.
• Leads a community focused on a specific industry (Law, Policy & Social Good) and manages related outreach to students, student clubs, employers, and alumni.
• Initiates and supports programming and events related to career and life design.
• Designs and supports career and life design/DEI programs and initiatives.
• Liaises with related campus partners to support the objectives and activities of the Career & Life Design Center.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' work experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, Business, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• 1-3 years' work experience in career coaching or counseling.
• Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel, Counseling, or a related field.
• Career Coaching or Counseling Certificate (IFC, BCC, CSSP).
• Career Assessments Certificate (StrengthFinder, MBTI).
