About the position

The Career Program Specialist at The Posse Foundation Inc. is responsible for leading the Career Program in Atlanta, aimed at helping Posse Scholars transition from campus leaders to workforce leaders. This role involves developing and managing career-enhancing programming, collaborating with various stakeholders to cultivate career partnerships, and connecting Scholars and alumni to essential career development resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead exciting, career-enhancing programming such as workshops and special events.
• Collaborate with the Director and development staff to cultivate and manage career partnerships.
• Connect Scholars and alumni to resources for career development services, including internship and job search support, skill building, and ongoing career guidance.
• Collect data and report on career outcomes regularly.
• Coordinate with national staff to deliver high-quality programming for Scholars and Alumni.
• Maintain close relationships with program partners and directors of university career centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel.

• Experience working with youth strongly preferred.
• Experience working in corporate settings is a plus.
• Experience managing volunteers is a plus.
• Experience facilitating workshops preferred.
• Event planning experience preferred.
• Database management skills strongly desired, e.g., Salesforce.
