About the position

The Career Skills Coach at Metropolitan Community College is responsible for empowering individuals by coordinating and administering the National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC) tests. This role focuses on helping individuals identify their strengths, develop personalized career plans, and access employment and educational opportunities, thereby making a significant impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track, and administer the National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC) tests to community organizations and American Jobs Center partners.
• Help individuals uncover their strengths and develop personalized career plans.
• Unlock pathways to employment and educational opportunities for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of full-time work-related experience in advising, coaching, case management, and/or counseling, preferably in higher education.
• Must complete required certifications to administer all specialized assessments within 90 days from hire.
