About the position

The Career Success Coach will lead one of the Center for Career Development's (CCD) industry-focused Career Communities, which serves as a collaborative space for students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and industry experts. This role is pivotal in coaching and advising students on their career development, enhancing engagement within the designated Career Community, and developing tailored workshops, resources, programs, and events that cater to the specific needs of students in that community. The Career Success Coach will work cross-functionally with other CCD teams, including employer engagement, career and life design, operations, data, and marketing, to build strong relationships with relevant faculty, campus partners, professional associations, employers, and stakeholders connected to the selected industry area. In addition to coaching, the Career Success Coach will be responsible for developing industry-specific knowledge and sharing this information with students and other stakeholders. The role requires a commitment to cultural competency and inclusion, ensuring that all students, particularly those from marginalized communities, are engaged and supported in their career development journey.
