About the position

The Career Transition Coach plays a crucial role in assisting individuals through their career transitions by providing personalized coaching, job search strategies, and professional development support. This position involves collaboration with an outplacement team to empower clients in finding new opportunities and successfully navigating their career paths.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Outplacement team on both individual and group projects.
  • Provide individual and group career coaching, resume writing support, job search strategies, social media techniques, and interview preparation.
  • Partner with the Team Lead to design and implement customized programs and services that meet outplacement needs.
  • Deliver engaging presentations in small to mid-sized group settings.
  • Contribute to division marketing efforts, including content for print and digital platforms.
  • Monitor participant progress, provide targeted coaching, and address personal issues impacting their job search.
  • Collaborate with the professional recruiting team on participant updates and job opportunities.
  • Support in training new team members.
  • Participate in recruiting activities as needed to support the business.
  • Assist in creating proposals, presentations, marketing materials, and training content for the division, as needed.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop branding, marketing strategies, and collateral for Outplacement services, as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team on current and upcoming projects.
  • Participate in onsite coverage rotation at client site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Proficiency in creating and editing written content.
  • Must be proficient in use of the Internet.
  • BS degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, outplacement services, management, coaching, and/or training.
  • Proficiency using Word and Excel, and internet-based research is required.
