About the position

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers to provide in-home, non-medical care to clients. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, companionship, and supervision, ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, eating, ambulation, transfers, and toileting.
• Offer companionship and supervision to clients.
• Document care activities using a smartphone.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing transfers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience.
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background clearance.
• Able to pass a work physical and TB test.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screen.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a Social Security Card.
• Have a reliable and insured vehicle.
• Willingness to drive to all service areas.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
