About the position

The Care Professional role is designed for individuals who provide essential support and companionship to aging adults, ensuring their health, safety, and happiness at home. This position emphasizes building genuine relationships with clients while delivering compassionate care. Care Professionals are supported with resources, including a leading app for client management and 24/7 on-the-job assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Offer 1-on-1 assistance with non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN.
• Must have one professional reference.
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities are required (bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply).
• Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations.
• Use the Honor Care Pro App and must have a device that supports the most up-to-date version of iOS or Android.
