Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in conversations to create a positive environment for clients.
- Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, housekeeping, and laundry to maintain a comfortable living space.
- Attend to personal care needs of clients while ensuring their dignity is maintained.
- Remind clients about medications, monitor health changes, and communicate concerns effectively.
- Ensure client safety and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
- Empathy and a people-oriented mindset to understand clients' emotions and perspectives.
- Authorization to work in the US and successful completion of a background check.
- Reliable transportation to fulfill work duties.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to build relationships with clients.
- Strong ethics, responsibility, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Physical capability to meet the demands of caregiving.
- Ability to clock in/out using the HHAX app as required by the State of Texas.
