About The Position

Mount Pleasant Gardens is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to support memory care residents in their daily lives. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will contribute positively to the community and the lives of the residents and their families.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience working as a caregiver.
• Ability to work 8 hour or 12 hour shifts; every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with daily activities and personal needs such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene including showering, shaving, and grooming.
• Help with room care and laundry.
• Encourage and assist patients in maintaining their health through healthy behaviors like walking and eating.
• Provide assistance with activities that enhance the daily lives of residents.
• Ensure the safety of the residents and provide oversight.
• Be a positive presence in the patients' lives.
