About The Position

The ARCC Center Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to supporting children and teens who have autism and/or other developmental disabilities and their families. We are looking to hire dedicated and caring Respite Workers who will provide assistance in the clients' homes and in the community. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work between 6 to 39.5 hours per week based on your availability. You must be available at least two weekdays and one weekend day. This role emphasizes a healthy work-life balance, making it ideal for those seeking part-time employment. As a Respite Worker, you will be responsible for providing patient care, assisting with vital signs, cooking, and meal preparation. You will work in various locations, including clients' homes, community settings, and schools, and may also observe therapies such as ABA, OT, and Speech Therapy. This position offers great hands-on experience and shadowing opportunities, making it an excellent choice for individuals looking to pursue careers in related fields after completing their education. We provide training for applicants who are great with kids and possess qualities such as being outgoing, patient, and reliable.
