About the position

Ready to make a difference? As a Personal Care Worker (M), you will assist residents with daily activities, foster meaningful relationships, organize social activities, support meal service, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with activities of daily living
• Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships
• Plan and facilitate social activities for the neighborhood residents
• Assist with menu/snack selection and partner with the Service Associate in serving to ensure adequate nutritional intake of all residents and provide in-room dining experiences where requested
• Assure the resident's room and neighborhood are kept tidy to minimize environmental hazards which may impact environmental safety

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Personal Care Worker preferred
• Current CPR certification is preferred (CPR certification required within 90 days of hire)
• Must have availability on weekends and weekdays
