About the position

The Recovery Assistant position at CNC Staffing Resources involves providing essential personal care and support to individuals in Brookfield and surrounding areas. The role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Support, teach, and assist individuals in integrating into their living environment.
• Supervise and assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, personal hygiene, changing bed linen, dressing/undressing, and toileting activities.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assist clients with grocery selection and teach meal preparation and budgeting for shopping.
• Help individuals with laundry tasks.
• Meet the safety needs of patients and use equipment safely and properly.
• Adhere to the organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Home Health Aide Training Certification or Certified CNA required.
• Must meet training requirements in accordance with State and Agency regulations.
• 1 year of hands-on work experience preferred, including roles such as companion/homemaking, home health aide, certified nursing assistant, or similar in a home care setting.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Licensed driver with a reliable automobile that is insured according to organization requirements.
