About the position
The Cottages Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join their team in a Memory Care Community. This role involves assisting seniors with daily living activities and ensuring their health and safety. Immediate full-time and part-time positions are available, with a focus on providing quality care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, dressing, and laundry.
- Respond to resident needs, requests, and emergency calls.
- Accurately document services provided to residents.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect resident information.
- Monitor the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents.
Requirements
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience working with seniors (not required).
