About the position
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers in our Adult Family Homes, which accommodate four residents per location. This role involves providing essential support to individuals with disabilities and developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being while assisting with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while accommodating dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Complete housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
Requirements
- Ability to follow Behavior Support Plans
- Experience in group home and/or nursing home setting is required
- Ability to work with individuals with disabilities and developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in cooking meals and following dietary guidelines
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus
- Understanding of resident rights and privacy regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
