About the position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including retirement homes, personal care homes, and memory care facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and dementia care, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
• Monitor and document vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are reported to healthcare professionals.
• Implement behavior management techniques to support residents with specific needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
• Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, especially in long-term care or memory care settings.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices and behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks while respecting the dignity of each resident.
• Knowledge of basic health monitoring systems and vital signs is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others in need.
