About the position
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications following proper protocols
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Offer direct support to residents in a caring and respectful manner
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with resident rights and care protocols
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to individuals in need
- Proficiency in meal preparation and dietary restrictions
- Experience working with people with dementia is a plus
- Direct support experience is beneficial
- Certification as a caregiver is a must
