Caregiver for Elderly-Weekly Pay-Must be Certified

About the position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to serving individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, and other personal care requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities and those in assisted living or memory care settings.
• Implement behavior management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions and outcomes.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure a safe environment for clients at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with home community care settings or assisted living environments is beneficial.
• Experience in dementia care and understanding of memory-related challenges is a plus.
• Knowledge of personal care home operations and best practices for client support is advantageous.
• Training in first aid and CPR is highly valued.
