About the position
The Caregiver position at our Senior Care Facility is designed for individuals who are passionate about enriching the lives of seniors. The role focuses on providing essential support in daily living activities, personal care, and companionship to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior.
- Ensure clients take medication on time and as prescribed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Certification in CPR and first aid.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
