About the position

As a Home Care Aide (HCA) at Interim HealthCare, you will provide essential personal care and support to seniors, enabling them to live safely and happily in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and provide transportation as needed.
• Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document clients' conditions, notifying supervisors of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring them joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Covid-19 vaccination card is necessary.
• Valid California driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
