About the position
The Caregiver/Home Healthcare Aide position involves providing compassionate and reliable in-home care to clients in the Sunbury, Northumberland, Danville, and Shamokin areas. This role is essential for supporting clients with personal care, companion care, and dementia care, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The position offers flexible shift options, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, catering to the needs of various clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care and support to clients in need.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help clients with daily living activities and mobility assistance.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED).
- 1 year of experience in caregiving or related field preferred.
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a PCA or Companion Caregiver.
- Experience in homecare or nursing home settings.
