About the position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide home care services to senior citizens and disabled individuals in their community. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing caregivers to choose their hours and clients, ensuring a good match for both parties. The position involves assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship, with training provided for those without prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shopping errands
• Report any unusual incidents
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Assist client with personal care and hygiene
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
• Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent time management skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to clients' homes and errands
• Commitment to adhere to strict health and safety standards
