About the position

The Caregiver/Med Tech position at Senior Helpers involves providing personal care and companionship to seniors, ensuring their safety and well-being. This part-time role is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping others and offers flexible scheduling to maintain a work-life balance. Caregivers will assist with daily activities, medication reminders, and provide emotional support to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks upon arrival at clients' homes.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to enhance their well-being.
• Help prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Remind clients to take their medications on time.
• Support clients with mobility around the house and during errands.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in caregiving for at least 1 year is required.
• Personal care experience is a must.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aid (HHA), or Personal Care Aid (PCA) are preferred but not required.
