Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to elderly residents, assisting them in daily activities as required.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, including using bedpans, urinals, baths, shampoos, and shaves.
• Help with activities of daily living by serving meals, feeding patients, and assisting with ambulation, turning, and positioning patients.
• Check vital signs and weight to maintain patient stability.
• Provide comfort to patients by utilizing resources and materials, transporting them, and responding to their requests.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protect patient information by keeping it confidential.
• Administer basic medication as required.

Requirements

• Experience as a Med Tech or Caregiver.
• CPR Certification.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Ability to check vital signs.
• Knowledge of medical records management.
• AED Certification.
