About the position

Cardinal Senior Living is seeking Care Aides for Autumn House in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This role involves providing personal care and support to elderly residents, ensuring their needs are met in a safe and quality environment. Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with showering, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, oral care, laundry, and transportation to/from the dining room.
• Medication administration for residents.
• Performing tasks that contribute to the day-to-day operation of the home, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Assisting with daily activities and enriching the lives of residents.
• Maintaining the home in a safe manner and notifying supervisors of any safety or maintenance issues.
• Communicating positively and productively with co-workers, families/guardians, and the public.
• Supporting co-workers and actively participating in team processes.
• Providing complete, accurate, and timely documentation.
• Performing tasks in accordance with Care Cardinal Policies and Procedures and other regulatory bodies.
• Arriving on time for every shift and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• 1 year of experience in a similar setting (encouraged but not required upon hire)
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to interact with people in a positive and supportive manner.
