About the position

The Caregiver (Memory Care Professional) at Tender Rose Dementia Care Specialists is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for clients living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. This role involves providing non-medical companionship care, following customized care plans, and delivering person-centered, activity-based care focused on luxury-brand customer service. The position requires working weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 6 am to 2 pm, and offers opportunities for growth and consistent schedules with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Follow customized care plans to meet clients' fundamental needs.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care activities, including hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to and from outings and appointments.
• Document completion of tasks and communicate changes in clients' physical condition, mental capacity, or behavior.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
• Dementia care experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License and vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Reliable means of transportation to get to and from work.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
