Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions
• Implement behavior management systems to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure a safe and supportive environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Requirements

• Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures
• Strong caregiving skills and ability to provide compassionate support
• Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities
• Understanding of behavior management systems and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
