About the position

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Personal Assistants. This role is crucial in assisting elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents with their daily living activities. Caregivers will provide personal hygiene assistance, medication reminders, mobility support, meal planning and preparation, and housekeeping duties. Additionally, caregivers will be responsible for reporting any unusual incidents and responding appropriately in emergencies. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate both part-time and full-time positions, making it easier for our caregivers to balance their work and personal lives. Our competitive pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and mileage reimbursement. We are looking for individuals who are at least 18 years old, possess strong communication skills, and can meet the physical demands of the job. Experience in caregiving is preferred but not mandatory, as we provide training to all new hires. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
  • Plan and prepare meals.
  • Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Able to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Pass all screening tests, including but not limited to criminal records and LEIE checks.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves
