The Caregiver/Personal Assistant role at Essential Quality Care involves providing essential personal care and support to elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents. Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor appointments and walks.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly in cases of emergency.
• Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting patients with their meals.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Pass all screening tests, including criminal records and LEIE checks.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

• Caregiving experience of 1 year (preferred).
