About the position

Platinum Senior Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants (CarePros) to provide non-medical care, companionship, and light housekeeping to clients in their homes. The role involves working various shifts, including overnight and evening shifts, with a focus on improving clients' quality of life through dedicated support and care. Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Remind clients to take their medications.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
• Prepare meals for clients as needed.
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments or activities.
• Offer incontinence care and support during transfers.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience providing care for seniors in a home setting or facility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have 2 professional references.
• English proficiency and good communication skills are required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• If driving clients, must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• CNA and HHA training/certifications preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Prior caregiver experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s is a plus.
