As a Caregiver/Personal Assistant at A Better Solution in Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. You will be responsible for supporting clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which include bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Your role will also involve providing companionship and emotional support, ensuring that clients feel valued and cared for in their daily lives. In addition to personal care, you will assist clients with transportation to medical appointments and errands, helping them maintain their independence and connection to the community. The position requires physical capabilities, including lifting and transferring clients as necessary, which is essential for their safety and comfort. You will also be responsible for cooking and housekeeping tasks, ensuring that the living environment is clean and conducive to the well-being of the clients. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work various shifts, including day, evening, and overnight shifts. The pay range is competitive, reflecting the importance of the work you will be doing. To succeed in this role, you must possess the necessary certifications and credentials, including a Home Care Aide Certification or CNA License, and be prepared to undergo health screenings such as a TB test or chest X-ray. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

  • Perform cooking and housekeeping tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Home Care Aide Certification or CNA License is required.
  • Two forms of ID (Driver's License, Social Security Number, Passport, or Birth Certificate).
  • Current TB test (within 1 year) or Chest X-Ray (within 5 years).
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Card preferred.
  • Ability to commute within Orange County, CA.
