About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing home, hospice care, and caregiving, with a focus on dementia and memory care. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting them with daily activities and providing emotional support. The Personal Assistant will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and that they feel comfortable and cared for in their environment. The responsibilities of the Personal Assistant include assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitoring and recording vital signs is also a key duty, as well as preparing and serving nutritious meals tailored to the clients' dietary needs. Providing companionship and emotional support is essential, as many clients may feel isolated or lonely. Light housekeeping tasks may also be required to maintain a clean and safe living environment for the clients. In addition to these tasks, the Personal Assistant will administer medications as directed and coordinate appointments and transportation for clients. Engaging clients in stimulating activities is important to promote mental and emotional well-being. The role requires a compassionate individual who can provide personalized care and support, ensuring that each client feels valued and respected.
