About the position

HomeWell of Anchorage is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional in-home care to our clients in the Anchorage area. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals in need of assistance. Your responsibilities will include offering companionship, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring that our clients feel comfortable and cared for in their own homes. We welcome applicants with or without prior experience, as we provide training for the right candidates. We are looking for individuals who are not only reliable and trustworthy but also have a genuine heart for helping others. Responsibilities

• Providing conversation and companionship to clients
• Performing light housekeeping duties
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and toileting
• Reminding clients to take their medications
• Helping clients with their night routine
• Assisting with ambulation and mobility
• Providing specialized assistance with Hoyer Lifts and Transfers when needed
• Implementing Memory Care/Dementia plans for clients requiring specialized care

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to commute to the Anchorage area
• Ability to pass a background check
• Possession of a working smartphone
• Heart for seniors and a passion for caregiving

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience as a CNA or caregiver is preferred but not required
