This position does not require prior certification as a nursing assistant, as we offer free Community Based Resident Facility (CBRF) certification to all caregivers. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities

  • Assist seniors with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health and well-being to the nursing staff.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Document care provided and any changes in residents' conditions.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a personal assistant or caregiver.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and English.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • A PA diploma or certification is considered an advantage.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in caregiving for at least 1 year is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the latest office gadgets and applications.
