About the position

The Caregiver/Personal Assistant role at Compassionate Caregivers involves providing essential personal care and companionship to clients, particularly those with higher care needs such as dementia. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with immediate hours available, focusing on delivering compassionate care and support in a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to clients.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Be available for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
• Ensure clients' safety and comfort during care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Requirements

• Experience with Hoyer lift operation.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
• Ability to provide total care for clients.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
• Willingness to pass a drug screen and full background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in dementia care is a plus.
• Previous personal care experience is preferred but not required.
