About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and companionship. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their well-being and comfort, focusing on activities of daily living and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide patient monitoring and support in home care settings
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with household tasks and meal preparation
• Coordinate appointments and accompany clients to medical visits

Requirements

• Experience in patient care, preferably in nursing homes or home health settings
• Knowledge of home community care practices
• Ability to lift and move patients safely
• Proficient in CPR techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-haves

• Valid First Aid Certification
