About the position

The Caregiver/Personal Care Aide position involves providing essential support and assistance to clients, particularly within the geriatric community. The role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and mobility, while also ensuring their safety and well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling and on-the-job training, making it accessible for individuals with varying levels of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

• Desire to work with geriatric community
• Pass Drug Screening
• Pass Background check
• Have a Current Valid Driver's License
• Must have own Vehicle and Valid Automobile Insurance
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Dedication and compassion to provide the very best care for your clients
• Must be punctual and reliable

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Home health
• CNA / HHA / PCA / Nursing assistant experience
