About the position

Hillcrest Health & Living is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant/Certified Medication Aide (PCA/CMA) for our Senior Care Community located in Bellevue, Nebraska. As a PCA/CMA, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, administering medications, and supporting their overall health and happiness. Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning for residents.

Requirements

  • Focus on resident care and be a team player.
  • Exhibit a STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Must have an active 40-hour Medication Aide certification in Nebraska.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a caregiving role is a plus but not mandatory.
