You will collaborate in assisting clients with various activities of daily living (ADLs), encompassing essential tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. It is crucial to adhere meticulously to established care plans to remind clients to take medications accurately, and ensure clients' specific medical needs are met without compromise. Additionally, you will contribute to light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and even grocery shopping to enhance clients' quality of life. Cultivating a sense of companionship is also a vital part of this role. You will engage in meaningful conversations, thereby fostering emotional support and mental stimulation. Furthermore, you will contribute to clients' mobility and social engagement by facilitating transportation to medical appointments, errands, and recreational outings. While previous experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous, the organization provides comprehensive training for all new caregivers. Displaying a compassionate, empathetic, and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients and their families is essential. Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively and respond effectively to various needs and concerns, are also required. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Hold a valid and registered Home Care Aide (HCA) license.
  • Possess strong communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively and respond effectively.
  • Display a compassionate, empathetic, and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients and their families.
  • Uphold reliability, punctuality, and a profound sense of responsibility.
  • Have recently acquired TB test results and an up-to-date CPR certification.
  • Meet a minimum age requirement of 18 years.
