About the position

As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant at Honor, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to aging adults in the Emmaus, PA community. Our caregivers, referred to as Care Professionals, are dedicated to fostering genuine relationships with seniors while ensuring their health, safety, and happiness at home. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and are committed to delivering high-quality care. You will be supported by our team through 24/7 on-the-job assistance and access to our industry-leading app, which provides you with up-to-date information on your clients' needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours, with both full-time and part-time options available. We encourage our Care Professionals to build strong, consistent relationships with their clients by working at least two weekly shifts with the same individuals. This consistency not only enhances the quality of care provided but also allows for deeper connections between caregivers and clients. Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
  • Offer 1-on-1 assistance with hands-on, non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and dressing

Requirements

  • Must have two professional references
  • Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
  • Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
  • Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations
  • Use the Honor Care Pro App and must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android

Benefits

  • $14.50-15.00/hr - weekly pay & direct deposit
  • $1,000 caregiver new hire bonus (must be in good standing and worked a minimum of 8 ongoing visits in first 30 days)
