About the position

Adept Home Care is seeking a caring and dependable non-medical hourly caregiver for immediate placement in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves providing essential support to older adults, enabling them to live happier and healthier lives at home. Caregivers will assist clients with daily living activities and ensure their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and light housekeeping
• Laundry and change of bed linens
• Grocery shopping
• Providing companionship
• Assisting with range of motion exercises
• Bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
• Driving to appointments and errands
• Walking and transfer assistance
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ambulation support
• Transportation for errands using the client's vehicle

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver
• Valid driver's license
• Pass a 2-step TB test
• Pass criminal background checks
• Pass child clearances (when applicable)
