About the position

The Care Professional role is designed for individuals who provide essential caregiving services to aging adults, fostering genuine relationships while ensuring clients remain healthy, safe, and happy at home. This position emphasizes compassionate care and offers support through a dedicated app and 24/7 assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
  • Offer 1-on-1 assistance with non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR certification as a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN.
  • Reliable transportation to and from clients (drivers preferred but not required).
  • Two professional references required.
  • All Care Pros must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Willingness to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
  • Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities; bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Completion of any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations.
  • Ability to use the Honor Care Pro App and have a device that supports the latest version of iOS or Android.
