About the position

Our caregivers are Care Professionals who provide invaluable services to aging adults. We encourage our Care Professionals to foster genuine relationships with the seniors in our community while providing compassionate care to help keep clients healthy, safe, and happy at home. The role is designed to support caregivers by ensuring they have access to work quickly, providing 24/7 on-the-job support, and giving them up-to-date information on their clients' needs through our industry-leading app. This position is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and ensuring they receive the care they need in a familiar environment. As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care to clients, which includes companionship, meal preparation, and assistance with daily living activities. The job requires a commitment to building strong relationships with clients, which is essential for providing consistent and effective care. In addition to the rewarding nature of the work, we offer competitive pay and benefits to our caregivers. This includes a starting pay rate of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour, weekly pay with direct deposit, and a $1,000 new hire bonus for caregivers who meet the eligibility criteria. We also provide paid holidays at 1.5 times the regular rate, medical, dental, and vision benefits based on eligibility, and a 401k matching program. Our caregivers also benefit from paid leave, overtime, and paid training, as well as mileage reimbursement for in-visit travel and between same-day visits. Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
  • Offer 1-on-1 assistance with hands-on, non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from clients (drivers preferred but not required).
  • Must have two professional references.
  • All Care Pros are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to provide care to Clients.
  • Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships.
  • Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply).
  • Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations.
  • Use the Honor Care Pro App and must have a device that supports the most up-to-date version of iOS or Android.
