About the position

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) position at Trilogy Health Services involves providing essential non-certified routine services to residents in a senior living environment. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, ensuring residents' comfort, and maintaining effective communication with nursing staff. The RCA plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents through companionship and engagement in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making beds.
• Assists with all aspects of meal service, including transporting residents to and from the dining room and tray delivery.
• Answers resident call lights promptly and checks on residents who are unable to call for help.
• Assists with 1:1 observations as assigned.
• Maintains communication with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse regarding resident condition changes and concerns.
• Provides customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities for residents.
• Assists clinical staff in ensuring residents' comfort, such as checking sitting positions and hydration.
• Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
