About the position

The Child Caregiver position at Alliance Homecare involves providing nurturing care and supervision to children in their homes. The role focuses on ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. The caregiver will engage children in age-appropriate activities and collaborate with parents to maintain consistency in care.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in age-appropriate activities to stimulate and encourage development.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and dressing.
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in care and follow their instructions regarding routines and schedules.
• Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns or issues to the parents or supervisor.
• Maintain a tidy and organized environment, including cleaning up after meals and activities.
• Accompany children to appointments or activities outside the home as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Child Caregiver, Babysitter, or similar role is preferred.
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to interact effectively and positively with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in early childhood education is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate.
