In this position, you will expand your knowledge of psychology while supporting individuals in achieving their developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You will assist participants with personal hygiene and provide support to those who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. Your role will involve taking initiative to help participants engage with their community and enjoy their favorite activities, fostering real and meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. You will experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what is right for the participants, ensuring they receive the best care possible. Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily activities.
  • Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living skills.
  • Help participants achieve their developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
  • Take initiative to help participants engage in community activities and enjoy their favorite pastimes.
  • Provide support to individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.

Requirements

  • No High School Diploma required.
  • No prior experience necessary.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and multi-task effectively.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Good time-management abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Driver's license preferred but not required.
