The Caregiver position at Senior Helpers offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential care and companionship to seniors in their homes. This part-time role is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, particularly in the senior community. Caregivers will assist with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and perform household tasks, all while fostering a genuine connection with clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
- Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
Requirements
- Valid RN License or Certified Home Health Aide certification
- Experience in home and community care
- Caring and compassionate attitude towards helping others
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance
- CNA, PCA, RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA Certification
