About the position
TheKey is seeking experienced caregivers to join their team in Irvine and Orange County, CA. The role involves providing exceptional care to seniors in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a fulfilling lifestyle. Caregivers will implement customized care plans and engage with clients to enhance their quality of life. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with competitive pay and extensive training.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes.
- Assist in executing personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
- Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner, including Activities of Daily Living.
- Offer personal companionship and maintain active engagement with each client.
- Assist with personal care activities such as hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation.
- Prioritize order, safety, and client satisfaction at all times.
- Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
- Perform administrative duties such as documenting task completion and reporting changes in the client's condition.
Requirements
- At least one year of caregiving experience.
- HCA/PER ID registration preferred but not required.
- Alzheimer's or dementia experience is a plus.
- Empathy, compassion, and kindness are essential.
- Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in various situations.
- Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Basic computer skills and overall technical savviness.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
- TB test (can be obtained through the employer).
- Must have reliable transportation.
