The Caregiver position at Gentiva Personal Care involves providing essential support to elderly and disabled clients in their homes. Responsibilities

• Assist elderly and/or disabled persons in their homes or places of residence.
• Provide hygiene assistance including showering, dressing, and restroom care.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery and personal shopping.
• Run errands and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain simple medical records and follow care plans as outlined.
• Function with minimal supervision while ensuring client safety and comfort.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Preferred experience in caregiving or personal care.
• Physical ability to perform personal care tasks.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out directions.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• No criminal conviction that bars employment.
• Not listed in the Nurse Aide Registry or Employee Misconduct Registry.
• Must meet state requirements related to work experience and training.
